The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls' basketball had a potential win snatched from their fingertips in Green Bay Thursday night as they lost to NEW Lutheran 35-33.

The Clippers found themselves down by two at the break but mustered a comeback that put them ahead 33-31 late before the Blazers scored the game's final four points. 

Dasha Yeltysheva led all scorers with 18 points, Yarrow Goettelman contributed six points, and two others scored at least three points in the loss. Lexie Meerstein paced the Blazers with 11 points, while Ingrid Beaumont chipped in with eight points.
