The Sturgeon Bay girls' basketball team saw Oconto guard Addisyn Viestenz score her 1000th point in a 62-25 loss on Friday night.

Viestenz scored nine of her team-high 15 points in the first half as the Blue Devils dug the Clippers into a 38-8 hole entering the break.

Head coach Dan Tjernagel was happy the Clippers played much better in the second half, scoring 17 points in the frame thanks to Dasha Yeltysheva scoring nine points in the second half en route to a 15-point evening. Regan Kasten scored four points, and three others had two points.

Joining Viestenz in the box score for the Blue Devils are Kelly Vizer's 11 points, seven points from Emilee Banker, and six points from Natalie Schlueter.
