The Sturgeon Bay Clippers defeated the Algoma Wolves Friday night on the road 49-39.

 

Gannon Evers put in work in the paint with 19 points to lead the way for Sturgeon Bay. Algoma was led by Parker Lischka with 13 points and Cody Kirchman, who hit four three-pointers to end his night with 12 points.

 

The Wolves made a bit of a comeback late in the second half thanks to Grant Vandervest's back-to-back three-pointers but ultimately fell short. 

 

The Clippers are now 3-2 in the Packerland Conference and Algoma falls to 3-3. Their next conference game will be on Jan 12th at home against Gibraltar while Algoma’s next conference game will also be against Gibraltar on Jan 15th.
