In the thick of the winter, the Sturgeon Bay School Board addressed two of its coaching vacancies with its fall sports offerings.

The board promoted volunteer assistant coach Morgan Harding to its head cross-country coach position. Harding served under former coach Leanne Pinkert for the last three years.

The board also named high school technology and engineering teacher Michael Bryfczynski the new head girls' golf coach. He brings plenty of experience to the role, playing four years of golf in high school and serving as the head greenskeeper at Cherry Hills Golf Course during the summer.
