The Sturgeon Bay Clippers dropped a close one to the Gillet Tigers 44-41 Tuesday night at home.   The game was tied 27-27 at halftime, as the Tigers would outscore the Clippers 17-14 in a defensive second half to come away with the victory.

The Clippers were led by Basha Yeltysheva, who scored 17 points, while Regan Kasten and Cody Carlson added 10 points each.

Cilena Guns was the game's high scorer, with 23 points for the Tigers.

Sturgeon Bay will now play home to Green Bay East in non-conference action on Thursday.
