On Tuesday, the Door County United swimming team hits the pool for a pre-holiday meet against Plymouth and Sheboygan South. 

In their last meet on December 14th, the team of four pulled in another 58 points and edged out Berlin by 27 points to take second this evening. They’re walking away from tonight with five first-place finishes in a quick meet that didn’t allow much rest between swims. There was a huge first-place finish in the 200 Free Relay (Jack Monfils, Luke Filar, George Atwell, Logan Filar), beating Chilton by a solid ten-second margin. Monfils secured first in both his 100 Fly and his 100 Breast. His 100 Fly is the fastest he’s done during a high school season at 59.07. His lead-off 50 Free is also the fastest on record during his high school seasons. Logan Filar had two big first-place finishes in the 200 IM and the 100 Free. His 200 IM is the fastest in the last two seasons by just over a second.
