Clippers Sail Past Pioneers On U102.1

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers took the short ride to Institute Friday night to take on the Sevastopol Pioneers and left with the 73-36 victory.

The visiting team would take the victory as the Clippers scored off the opening tip and would never look back. Sturgeon Bay would lead the entire game, with leading scorer Calvin Richard leading the way with 24 points, 20 of which came in the first half.  Daniel Lodl would add 17, and Jackson Starr would add 16. Leading the scoring for Sevastopol was Zaul Valdivia with 13. Logan Schuh added 6 of his own.

The Clippers will rest up over the weekend before hosting Two Rivers on Tuesday night.  The Pioneers have capped off three games in four days stretch and have earned a short rest as they do not play until Thursday, when they will travel to Algoma, which you will be able to listen to on U102.1 and the NewRadioSportsNetwork.
