The Sturgeon Bay Clippers' girls basketball team came back from more than a dozen down to topple the visiting Two Raiders 46-39 in overtime.
According to head coach Dan Tjernagel, the Clippers were down big early in the second half before whittling it down, setting the stage for Cady Carlson's heroic game-tying three-pointer. Two defensive stops later, the Clippers and the Raiders went into overtime with Sturgeon Bay outscoring their visitors 9-2 in the decisive extra frame.
Carlson led the Clippers with 12 points, while Dasha Yeltysheva and Yarrow Goettelman each contributed nine points. The Raiders' Katelyn Klein scored a game-high 15 points on five three-pointers and Kaylee Jensen added 10 points in the loss.
