Sturgeon Bay girls welcome Two Rivers for Monday tip

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls' basketball team looks to win their second game in a row Monday night when Two Rivers comes to town.

 

The Clippers ground out a 36-29 victory over Peshtigo on Friday night for their first conference win. The game was knotted up at 17-17 at the break before the Clippers outscored their hosts 19-12 to secure the win. Dasha Yeltysheva led the way with 18 points, with Tori Alger scoring another 10 points in the victory.

 

The Raiders are looking for their first win after opening the season with five straight losses. Kaylee Jensen scored 13 points in their last game, but no one else scored more than six in a 64-28 loss to Valders.
