The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls' basketball team heads to Peshtigo Friday night in search of their win of the season.

The Clippers were sunk by Oconto's defense in a tough 59-25 loss on Tuesday that saw them score only nine points in the second half. Tori Alger was the only Clippers player to reach double figures with 10 points, while Dasha Yeltysheva and Cady Carlson each registered six points in the loss.

The Bulldogs opened their Packerland slate with a 51-44 overtime loss to Southern Door that saw them come back to tie the game in regulation. Audra Bauman scored 13 points, and Maysen Brissette added 10 in the defeat.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
