The Sturgeon Bay Clippers boys' basketball team will hop on a bus to begin their Packerland Conference season with a matchup against Oconto.

Sturgeon Bay took a one-point deficit at halftime and turned it into a 68-58 win over Chilton. Danny Lodl helped turn the tide in the second half as the Clippers outscored the Tigers by 11 after the break. Danny Lodl scored 11 of his 14 points, and Calvin Richard tallied eight of his 13 points in the second half to lead the Clippers past the Tigers. Garrett Ulberg hit two three-points en route to an 11-point evening.

The Blue Devils have two double-digit victories on their ledger the year, beating Wabeno/Laona on the road in their opener before returning home to throttle Shiocton. Carter Koch is pacing the team so far, leading the team with 27.5 points and five assists per game.

Tip-off in Oconto is set for 7:30 p.m.
