The Sturgeon Bay girls' basketball team opened their campaign with a tough loss on the road Thursday night, falling to the Chilton Tigers 80-41.
The Clippers' defense for last year's leading scorer for the Tigers, Adahlyn Hoerl, who dropped 21 points in the contest. Three other Tigers players reached double figures for scoring.
The Clippers had two players reach double figures, with Dasha Yeltysheva and Regan Kasten scoring 11 and 10 points, respectively.
