Slow start for Clippers soccer ends with a victory on Senior night

It was senior night at Clark Field and the Sturgeon Bay Clippers Soccer team took on the NEW Lutheran Blazers. It was a little while before things started with scoring when Kayden Klotz scored off a pass from Aldo Rangel in the 39th minute to make it 1-0.

The second half would start strong for the Clippers as Klotz would return the favor for Rangel with an assist for the second goal of the game in the 42nd minute.

Klotz would add the 3rd unassisted in the 49th and Daniel Wienke buried a pass from Rangel into the back of the net to make the score 4-0 in the 70th and that's how the match would end. The Clippers head to Algoma on Tuesday, October 3rd, and are back at home Thursday the 5th to host the Gibraltar/Sevastopol United. Thursday's game will be on U-102.1. Broadcast starting at 6:15 p.m.
