The Sturgeon Bay Clippers finally ended up on the right side of a close matchup last week as they prepare to play Peshtigo under the lights on Friday.
The Clippers narrowly avoided a third straight week of heartbreak with a 22-19 win over Marinette. Yards were hard to come by on the ground, so Danny Lodl led the team through the air, going 19-27 for 246 yards and three touchdowns.
The Bulldogs scored their first points of the season in the second quarter, but it was not nearly enough as they lost 33-6 to Mishicot.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
