Clippers soccer looks extinguish Blazers on U-102.1

The Sturgeon Bay soccer team is looking to bounce back when it visits Green Bay to play NEW Lutheran for a 4:30 p.m. first kick.

 

The Clippers jumped out to a two goal lead in its match against De Pere on Tuesday night thanks to tallies by Aldo Ringel and Caden Clarks. The momentum dramatically changed in the second half as the Redbirds scored the first of its four goals 15 minutes into the stanza to take the game 4-2. The Clippers are now 0-2-1 in its last three matches.

 

The Blazers are on their own two-game losing streak after falling to Kewaunee 3-2 in its last match. They are 1-1 in the Packerland Conference after opening the year with a 2-1 victory over Peshtigo.
