Sturgeon Bay soccer looks to stay perfect in conference on U-102.1

The Sturgeon Bay soccer team puts its early successful start on the line Thursday night when Algoma takes the pitch against them on Thursday night at Clark Field.

The Clippers have gone 1-0-2 since their opening night loss to Notre Dame, including a clean sheet against fellow Packerland rival Kewaunee. In their last game, Kayden Klotz scored on a header and Ben Stephens delivered on a penalty kick to preserve a 2-2 draw against Kiel on Monday.

The Wolves are yet to score a goal this season after being shut out by Gibraltar/Sevastopol 5-0 in the season opener and 2-0 by Luxemburg-Casco after a lengthy weather delay last week.

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call from Sturgeon Bay beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening touch at 6:30 p.m. The game will air on U-102.1 and stream worldwide at u1021.com and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
