Sturgeon Bay soccer welcomes Kiel on U-102.1

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers hit the pitch again on Monday night to battle Kiel.

Last Friday's game between Sturgeon Bay and Bay Port looked more like a battle on the Seven Seas than a soccer match, but it ended in a 0-0 draw. Much of the match took place in the midfield area, but it was the Pirates that were able to generate more offensive chances on the night. Ozzy Langfield stood tall in this one, collecting six saves on the evening.

The Raiders are 2-0-0 on the season and are yet to give up a goal on the season. Their offense has been impressive as well, beating Gibraltar/Sevastopol 5-0 and Omro 8-0 in their two matches.

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call on U-102.1 beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the pre-game show followed by the opening touch at 6:30 p.m.
