Clippers fall to Tritons at home, face Kewaunee on Thursday

The Sturgeon Bay soccer team got off to a challenging start on Tuesday, falling to fellow state-power Notre Dame 6-1 at Clark Field.

The Clippers will play two more times at home this week, including Thursday's match against conference foe Kewaunee. This will be the Storm's first game of the season as they look to snap a losing streak that stretches back to last year when they beat Washington Island. Outside of that match, the team has not won since their season opener at Green Bay West in 2021.

The first kick is set for 6:30 p.m. at Clark Field

The Clippers will also face Division 1 opponent Bay Port on Friday night at Clark Field. Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call on The Pirate (96.7 HD-2 and 103.3 FM) beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the pre-game show followed by the first kick at 6:30 p.m.
