Sturgeon Bay High School

Boys soccer hit the pitch Monday

Sturgeon Bay, Luxemburg-Casco, Washington Island, Algoma, Kewaunee, and Gibraltar/Sevastopol, Monday is the start of a possible trip to Milwaukee on Monday.

That's when they can begin official workouts ahead of their first matches on August 22nd in some cases. Sturgeon Bay will look to prove why they've been the class of the region for several years as the area's top performer last season. The Clippers finished at the top of the Packerland table last en route to a sectional final appearance. Gibraltar/Sevastopol dealt the Clippers their lone conference loss last season, but they joined Algoma, Kewaunee, and Luxemburg-Casco with records under .500 on the year. Washington Island played mostly JV squads, but they were able to pick up several wins on their tour of the area.
