One Sturgeon Bay athlete leaped his way onto the podium during the WIAA State Track Meet in LaCrosse.

Espen Walker was the top finisher of any local athlete on the day, taking third place in the high jump with a leap of 6-02. Nida Zukauskaite did not advance to the Division 2 100m hurdles finals, coming in 16th place with a time of 17.48.
