There will be plenty of Sturgeon Bay Clippers track athletes heading to Thursday's Little Chute Sectional after impressive performances at Monday's regional meet at St. Norbert College.
Highlights included:
Andrea Wilke took second in the pole vault at 9’-6”. Improving on her very own school record.
Espen Walker took 1st in high jump at 6’-2”
Madelyn Wind took first in shot put with a huge PR at 37’-5.5”
Braden Evers took 4th in shot with a toss of 46’-4.5”
Nida Zukauskaite took 2nd in high jump at 5’-2” and also took 2nd in the 100 hurdles at 16.74 sec.
The 4x800 relay team of Jade Tomberlin, Claire Quaderder, Julia Michalski and Julia Kurek. 11:01.88
Julia Kurek also took 2nd in the 1600 at 5:40.60 and 3rd in the 3200 at 12:34.09.
Ella Tarkowski took 4th in the triple jump at 33’-2.5”. Also 3rd in the 100 at 12:87 seconds.
The girls 4x100 relay took 3rd at 52.68. That team is Ella Tarkowski, Tiviana Andropolis, Cady Carlson, and Claire Bohn.
The Clippers boys took eighth as a team with 34 points while the girls finished in fifth with 81.5 points.
