The Sturgeon Bay Clippers softball team and the Gibraltar Vikings softball team will both be looking for their first conference win when they square off with each other on Friday afternoon for a doubleheader. 

The lone win for the Clippers this season comes against Elcho by a 19-9 score. In Packerland Conference play, Sturgeon Bay has been outscored by their opponents 14-92, including 11-0 and 17-2 losses to the Eagles of Southern Door the last time the Clippers played. Sturgeon Bay won the lone matchup of last season between the two teams, winning 22-0. 

Gibraltar, much like the Clippers, have struggled to begin the season. The Vikings have been held to three runs or less in eight of their nine games played this season, the only exception being a 15-9 loss to Sheboygan Lutheran. Gibraltar will look to bring that offensive output to Sturgeon Bay on Friday as they look for their first win of the season. 

First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 4:30 p.m.
