Sturgeon Bay soccer looks to avoid weather against Thunder

After picking up another win on Tuesday, the Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls soccer team will look to keep their winning ways in motion when they face off against Seymour on Thursday night.

The match between these two teams was rescheduled once already, and with potential for more weather factors, the game could be in jeopardy once again. Sturgeon Bay however, made quick work of the Clintonville Truckers, netting nine goals in the match on their way to a 9-1 win. Junior Alexis Olson was the leading scorer in that match with 4 goals and 3 assists, but the Clippers had four other girls score in the match.

Seymour’s match on Tuesday was not nearly as kind to them as Sturgeon Bay’s was as the Thunder lost to West De Pere 2-0. Seymour stands at 2-2 overall on the season entering the match with the Clippers.

The match, barring any weather conditions, is set to start at 6:00 p.m.
