Looking to bounce back from their weekend loss to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will be the Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls soccer team as they take on the Clintonville Truckers in non-conference action.
The Clippers were shutout in that game against the Resorters, not being able to find the back of the net. In their game the night before against Sevastopol/Gibraltar, the offense clicked for two goals with Shambo Wienke and Paula Wienke scoring for the Clippers, giving Sturgeon Bay the 2-1 win. These two teams were scheduled to play last season, but the game was canceled early in the season.
The Truckers of Clintonville did not pick up a win in the 2022 season, going 0-17 in total. The team scored 3 goals during the season, with one goal apiece in losses against New London, Berlin, and Freedom. Clintonville has fell in their three games this season, with losses to Shawano 9-0, Luxemburg-Casco 5-0, and Campbellsport 4-1.
The match is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
