Sturgeon Bay looks to continue their season against Campbellsport on 103.3 The Clipper

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers will hit the road Tuesday night in the first round of the WIAA Division 3 Playoffs when they take on the Campbellsport Cougars.

Sturgeon Bay will enter the matchup against the Cougars with a 7-16 record overall, and they finished 4-12 in the Packerland conference. The last time the Clippers will have touched the court will have been last Friday, when they lost to the Kewaunee Storm 84-45. The Clippers struggled keeping the ball in their possession during that game, as the Storm were able to get 18 steals on Sturgeon Bay. Isaak Aune and Calvin Richard will have to be the leaders for the Clippers against Campbellsport, but the role players for Sturgeon Bay could be the once if the Clippers pull off an upset we look back at.

Campbellsport enters the game with a 17-6 record after a close loss to Saint Mary’s Springs 63-57 on Saturday. The Cougars could give the Clippers some trouble with their size as they pose two 6 foot 5 inch players that actually end up playing on the wing. The Cougars have not played any familiar opponents to the Clippers, which will give these teams fresh looks at each other and lead towards an unexpected game.

Gary Barta and Lucas Stephenson will be on the call from Campbellsport on 103.3 The Clipper, 96.7 WBDK HD-2, and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com. The pregame show will begin at 6:45 with the tip set for 7:00 in Campbellsport.
