Clippers boys end regular season in Kewaunee

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers boys basketball team will head down the lakeshore to battle their Packerland Conference rivals in Kewaunee Friday night.

 

The Clippers were outscored by the Vikings 31-17 in the first half behind Will Friedenfels' productive night in the paint en route to a 69-54 loss. Garrett Ulberg led the Clippers with 21 points while Isaak Aune was able to scored 12 of his 13 points in the second half. The Evers brothers combined to score 13 points in the loss.

 

The Storm lost their own Packerland matchup on Monday, losing a Packerland Conference crown battle to Southern Door 77-61. Both teams started slow offensively compared to their second-half outburst where the Eagles outscored the Storm 49-42. For the Storm, Payton Kohnle led the way with 17 points and Thomas Stangel added 15 points. Jordan Lamack and Sawyer Pribek also cracked double figures for the Storm
