The Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol wrestling team will stick around for Friday's action after two of its wrestlers advanced to the next round of the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament.
On the boys' side, Zak Wrobel lost his first match at 170 pounds, ending his season with a fall at the hands of Tanner Kaufman from Northwestern. Ben Roman took care of business in his first match, pinning Owen Kooima in the second round.
In the girls' tournament, Tiana Lemeiux was pinned in the first period by the reigning state champion from Horicon, but she will still have an opportunity to place with a match Friday morning.
