Clipper girls play third game in four days versus Blazers

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls basketball team will play their third game in four days when they take on the Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy Blazers on Thursday night.

After falling 70-44 and 73-26 on Monday and Tuesday, the Clippers will hope to turn the tides and pick up their first conference win. Sturgeon Bay gave the Blazers a fight last time out back on December 6th, ultimately falling by a score of 59-45 led by Dasha Yeltysheva with 13 points. The Clippers will need to attack the boards better in this matchup after giving up 58 rebounds to the Blazers.

NEW Lutheran had 3 players in double figures in the game at home against the Clippers earlier in the season, but were ultimately led by Ebony Sinclair and her game high 22 rebounds. The Blazers fell to Kewaunee on Tuesday by a score of 53-41, which dropped them to 5-6 in the Packerland conference and 9-9 overall.

Tipoff from Sturgeon Bay is set for 7:30 P.M.
