The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls' basketball team start their week off with a tough matchup against the Oconto Blue Devils.

The Clippers lost 60-56 to Gillett. They were led in scoring by sophomore Cady Carlson with 18 points, Senior Mackenzie Burlo and Autumn Rass each added 13 points.

The Blue Devils are tied for second place in the Packerland Conference with Peshtigo with 6-2 mark (11-5 overall). Three players scored at least 14 points in their 59-51 victory over Valders last Tuesday.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
