Clippers girls begin Packerland play

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers will take on the Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy Blazers at home for their Packerland conference opener Tuesday night.

Sturgeon Bay has had a solid start to their campaign so far this season, already picking up their first win of the season last time out against NEWCHAA. The Clippers have been led by the play of senior guard Autumn Rass, who is averaging 17.1 points per game in the first three outings. Three Clippers are over 10 points per game on average so far this season, so balanced scoring could be key for Sturgeon Bay against the Blazers.

The Blazers have also gotten off to a 1-2 start on their new season, with a win over Crivitz being the result of their last trip on the court. The Blazers have had a mix of scoring throughout their first three games, but are led in the scoring department on average by Ebony Sinclair with 11.7 points per game.

Tip is scheduled for 7:30 in Sturgeon Bay.
