Sturgeon Bay High School

Sturgeon Bay girls host an unfamiliar opponent Tuesday

After a loss to the Chilton Tigers Friday night, the Clippers Girls Basketball team will look to put a win in their column against Northeast Wisconsin Christian Home School.

Chilton was able to handle the Clippers in Sturgeon Bay’s opener, as the Clippers lost 57-38. Sturgeon Bay kept the score close the majority of the game, but the Tigers were able to go on a bit of a run at the end of the 2nd half to put the game away late. Chilton moved their record to 2-0 and looked to be a strong opponent and a good test for the Clippers in their opener.

Northeast Wisconsin Christian Home School is opening up their season with the Clippers on Tuesday night. The team is not in a conference, so will be playing teams during their non-conference scheduled games. They were 4-0 last season in their four recorded games, outscoring their opponents 195-62 in those results.

The game is scheduled to tip at 7:00 P.M.
