The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls' basketball team will head to Roncalli in hopes of securing the season's first win.
The Clippers kicked off their season with a Friday night home matchup vs Chilton. The game was back and forth for much of the contest, with Sturgeon Bay trailing 23-25 at halftime. Toward the end of the game, Chilton pulled away, and the Clippers lost 38-57. Sturgeon Bay was led in scoring by seniors Autumn Rass and Emma Reinhardt, with 15 and 13 points, respectively. Sophomore Cady Carlson also chipped in 6 points.
The Jets struggled in their opener, falling to Winnebago Lutheran 72-39. Alayna Schramm scored nine points and Lauren Stangel registered eight points in the Jets' loss.
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
