The Sturgeon Bay Clippers cross country team takes the trails Saturday in Brillion in a division two cross country sectional meet. 

The boys team is headlined by its two runners, Elijah Pinkert and Gavin Forest. Forest ran his PR at an earlier meet in Shawano while Pinkert has recently gotten underway with his season best at the Russ Fameree Cross Country Classic and Northbrook. 

The girls team is led by Julia Kurek and Jade Tomberlin. The Clippers have four other runners that are close in time with Tomberlin, who sits at around 23 minutes. Those runners are Mikayla Laluzerne, Sayna Wienke, Alexis Olsen, and Claire Quaderder. 

The Clippers will look to get some runners to state, and hope the girls team makes a run for it as well.
