Clippers soccer ends the season strong against Peshtigo on The Clipper

On a windy and rainy night at Clark Field, the Sturgeon Bay Clippers honored their 11 seniors to start the game and then finished it in the 60th minute 8-0. The Bulldogs kept it close in the first half, with the score only being 2-0 at halftime. Hooker and Fernandez were the only goal-scorers after the first 40 minutes. After the game, Coach Maas said the team made some halftime adjustments which led to 6 goals in less than 20 minutes of play. One more from both Hooker and Fernandez, and goals from Ben Stephens, Aldo Rangel, Porter Gigstead, and Robert Alas rounded out the eight total goals scored on the night. The Clippers will turn their attention to the game being played Tuesday (Saint Lawrence Seminary v. Kewaunee), so they can find out who their first opponent will be next Thursday at home. That game will be on 103.3 The Clipper at 7 p.m.
