Sturgeon Bay welcomes in Algoma on 103.3 The Clipper

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers will look to keep their first place spot as the Algoma Wolves come to town in a soccer showdown Tuesday night. 

 

Sturgeon Bay (5-1 Packerland, 7-7-2 Overall), is coming off of a 8-0 win over Kewaunee that did not last longer than 63 minutes. Sturgeon Bay has won against the Storm by a combined score of 18-0 in the two matchups that they’ve faced off in. The Clippers have found themselves in a bit of a groove recently, as they have put up 23 goals in their last 4 matches, and will look to carry that over against the Wolves. 

 

Algoma (3-2-1 Packerland, 9-2-2 Overall), played upset against the Gibraltar/Sevastopol Vikineers in their most recent conference match, winning 3-0. The Wolves recently tied with the Luxemburg Casco Spartans 1-1. In the last meeting between these two teams, Sturgeon Bay took home the win in Algoma by way of a 3-0 victory. The Wolves will look to turn the tides their way and play spoiler again in the Packerland conference. 

 

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will be on the call on 103.3 The Clipper with pregame beginning at 6:15 P.M. and the match set to begin at 6:30 from Clark Field.
