A pair of Sturgeon Bay juniors led the way for the Clippers at the Bob Burzynski Invite hosted by Valders on Thursday.

 

For the boys, Gavin Forest led the way with a time of 31:42 on the 5K course. His teammate, senior Elijah Pinkert, ran a season-best 32:05 to come right behind Forest in 73rd place. The Clippers did not score as a team due to a lack of participants.

 

Julia Kurek posted the fastest time for the Clippers girls team, finishing in 7th place with 189 points. Valders won the meet on their home course with 37 points. Kurek finished in 29th place overall with a time of 24:53.
