The Sturgeon Bay Clipper cross country team will head back out on the trails for another meet Thursday afternoon. The Tom Finlan Invitational at Josten Park will be hosted by Green Bay Preble, and Sturgeon Bay will be the only local team there.
For the girls team, Julia Kurek and Mikayla Laluzerne are the top 2 runners for the Clippers. The two girls came in 9th and 17th respectively at their last meet, with Kurek running a 23:03.0 and Laluzerne running a 24:50.0. Those two will look to improve their times this afternoon.
The lone runner for the Sturgeon Bay boys team is Gavin Forest. Gavin ran a 27:26.0 at the Chief K Invitational, finishing in 21st.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 3:30.
