The Sturgeon Bay volleyball team opens their 2022 season on the road in a multi-team event on Tuesday.

The Clippers will play in Reedsville and battle the host school and Freedom. The Irish ended the Clippers' season last year in the WIAA Tournament 3-0. They would go onto lose to Fox Valley Lutheran 3-0 in the regional final despite having a 25-9 record. The Clippers finished in the middle of the Packerland with a 5-3 conference record and 8-12 overall. The Panthers finished near the bottom of the Big East-Red Conference with a 2-5 conference mark and an 8-15 overall record. They lost their regional match to Howards Grove 3-0.
