Sturgeon Bay will host baseball and softball Thursday afternoon when the Clippers welcome the Southern Door Eagles.
At Memorial Field, the Clippers baseball team are 2-1 after beating Oconto 9-5 its last time out. The win came a day after the team split a pair against Algoma. The Eagles are 4-1 on the season after toppling Green Bay Preble 11-7 on Monday. Last week featured Tyler Neinas throwing his first no-hitter of the season.
On the softball diamond, the Clippers are 2-3 on the season, including a blowout victory over Florence on Saturday 13-0. All three of their losses are in Packerland Conference play. The Eagles are looking for their first win of the season in limited opportunities. Their 0-3 record features a pair of losses last week to Peshtigo 7-1 and 3-2.
