Last night we traveled to Algoma to play a doubleheader. Game one of the doubleheader counts for conference standings, whereas game two does not. Here are the stats:

 

Game 1:

Final score: 10-1 Sturgeon Bay wins

- Braeden Haines went two for four, hitting a grand slam in the top of the six to put his RBI total at 5.

- Chris Lodl pitched all seven innings, allowing one hit, one run, one walk, and finishing with 13 strikeouts.

 

Game 2:

Final score: 9-12 Algoma wins

In game two we mixed it up and worked in our reserves, which allowed us to pitch Bennett Johnson, Brody Kollath, Curt Meyer, Emmett Braschnewitz, Calvin Richard, and Danny Lodl. Here are the stats:

- Bennett Johnson pitched inning one and claimed two of the three outs by striking out two batters. 

- Chris Lodl had a double. 

- Braeden Haines had two RBI's.
