The Sturgeon Bay girls’ basketball team traveled to take on the Algoma Wolves on Friday night in a Packerland Conference contest.
The Wolves had a very impressive first half defensively, holding Sturgeon Bay to just 2 points scored in the entire half, while working their way to a 24-2 halftime lead. From there Algoma wouldn’t look back and end up earning the 58-20 victory.
Halle Panger led the Wolves with 11 points, while Emily Kirchman added 8. The Lady Clippers were led by Jocelyn Olson and Sierra Arneman who each scored 6 points in the loss.
Sturgeon Bay will be in action again on Monday as they host Gibraltar.
