The Sturgeon Bay boys’ basketball team will travel to Southern Door to take on the Eagles in Packerland Conference play on Thursday night. 

The Clippers (6-12, 5-7) are 3-2 in their last five games, and are coming off of a big win scoring 91 points to beat Sevastopol their last time out. The Clippers are looking to pick up a road win over the conference rival Eagles on Thursday. The Clippers are led by Isaak Aune and Preston Newton who are averaging 14 and 11 points per game. 

The Eagles (11-8, 8-3) are looking to continue playing some of their best basketball on the season as they have won 4 of their last five contests. The Eagles have five conference games remaining and are looking to get off to a good start in that stretch of games with a win over Sturgeon Bay on Thursday. The Eagles are led by Drew Daoust who is averaging 19 points per game, while Taylor Schaefer and Jared Hawkey are averaging 9 points per game.
