Clippers fall to Wisconsin Heights in season finale

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers football season ended in hard fashion Thursday night, losing to Wisconsin Heights 41-6.

The Clippers could not solve Wisconsin Heights' Matthew Russell, who rushed for 201 yards on 12 carries and five of the team's six scores. Quarterback Carson Hosking scored the other touchdown on the ground from 18 yards in the game's opening frame.

The Clippers did not break through until they were inside of two minutes in the fourth quarter. That's when Caleb Plzak found Kordell Anderson for a 50 yard bomb for the only score of the contest.
