Clippers clobber Storm, face L-C on 103.3 The Clipper

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers soccer team showed no mercy to Kewaunee Thursday night, trouncing them 14-0 ahead of its matchup against Luxemburg-Casco on Friday.

The Clippers got a little scoring from everyone according to head coach Todd Maas.

"Porter, Luders, Jules had four, Robert, Isaac Marsh had two, Stephens had a couple, and Aldo Rangel scored his first in his high school career." Maas also commented that they were able to work on the ball movements from the keeper and backs, to work it up through the middle and eventually get in behind the backline. "We can always do better, but I believe the guys are starting to get it, "said Maas.  "New formation and roles take a bit to play before they fully understand what’s going on.”

The Clippers will stick with Kewaunee County opponents when they travel to Luxemburg-Casco to take on the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. The Spartans also beat Kewaunee earlier this week, albeit by a slimmer 5-1 margin on Monday.

103.3 The Clipper will carry the game live beginning at 6 p.m. with the pregame show.
