Sturgeon Bay dropped to 2-3 overall on the season after their loss to Thorp on Friday in their homecoming football game, 40-26. The Clippers were down at halftime, 22-10. In the second half, the Clippers fell behind by 22, 18 and 16 point margins, but would answer with a score each time. Unfortunately for Sturgeon Bay, those scores were as close as they got in the second half. The loss for Sturgeon Bay ends hopes of a three-game winning streak, but they’ll have a chance to start a new streak on Friday, October 1st at 7:00 PM when they play host to Athens.
