Clippers soccer starts slow but handles the Wolves

Led by Junior midfielder Porter Gigstead's hat-trick, the Sturgeon Bay soccer team was able to beat the Algoma Wolves 5-0 Thursday on 96.7 WBDK. Gigstead had the first three goals of the match (33', 36', 60') and he also broke the defensive stance the Wolves put on for the first 33 minutes of the match. Robert Alas put the 4th goal in only seconds after the third goal of the game in the 60th minute of play putting the Clipper up 4-0 and Ben Luders wrapped up the afternoon's scoring with exactly three minutes to go in the contest. 

The Clippers host Fox Valley Luthern Saturday and the next broadcast will be Tuesday when the Clippers are at home again. Broadcast begins at 6p.m. with kickoff at 6:30 and all the action on 96.7 WBDK.
