Clippers look to avenge spring loss on 96.7 WBDK

The Sturgeon Bay soccer team looks to bounce back at home Tuesday night when it hosts Green Bay Notre Dame.

The Clippers went 0-1-1 during its visit to The Prairie School with only one goal scored in the pair of matchups with teams from Racine and Kenosha. It was the end of a busy first week of the season that saw the Clippers play five times in seven days.  They went 2-2-1 in that span, picking up wins against Green Bay East and Gibraltar/Sevastopol.

The Tritons saw their four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, losing 2-1 to Verona. It was the Tritons who eliminated the Clippers from the postseason this spring en route to a state runner-up finish in the alternative fall tournament.

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call from Clark Field on 96.7 WBDK. Pregame will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the opening touch at 7 p.m.
