Sturgeon Bay School District is looking for a new baseball coach after John Berns stepped down earlier this month.

Berns took over for Dan Lake in 2019, leading the Clippers to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the WIAA Sectional Final. After COVID canceled the 2020 season, Berns was manning the bench again in 2021, leading the Clippers to a 10-11 record before bowing out to Luxemburg-Casco in the regional opener. Previous to his time at Sturgeon Bay, Berns coached at Sevastopol where he managed the 1995 state-qualifying team.

Those interested in taking the job have until July 15th to apply.
