With Saturday being just for Division 1 state track and field qualifiers, teams on the peninsula now shift to summer and fall sports. On Friday, Sturgeon Bay sophomore Cate Anderson got on the state podium. She placed eighth in the 100-meter hurdles, with a time of 15.98. Anderson beat her time in the preliminaries where she also placed eighth, and ran a 16.44. Also in the preliminaries the 100-meter hurdles for Sturgeon Bay was Clippers senior Lauren Alger.
