The Sturgeon Bay Clippers golf team had a strong showing in its first meet of the year, taking third at Cherry Hills Golf Course Thursday.

Kyle Bilski shot a team-best 49 on the course, one of six golfers to shoot under 50 in the nine-hole round. The Clippers finished behind Peshtigo and Oconto in the Packerland Conference Meet.
